This 3-hour workshop is designed to give you plenty of practical exercises to give you real steps to take away, the future business owner, the skills and know-how that you’ll need for:

  • Evaluating an offer to sell a business
  • Performing the necessary review and due diligence on the business you want to buy
  • Determining a fair purchase price and negotiating the deal
  • Understanding the various financing options available to you
  • Bringing the purchase of the business to a win-win conclusion

This workshop is also suitable for existing small business owners who are contemplating selling their business in the future. It will help you understand the process the potential buyer will go through to evaluate your business so that you’re better prepared.

This is an interactive workshop. You will be provided case studies of real companies that went through a sales process to further your understanding of the concepts and skills taught in this workshop. We encourage participation by all attendees — so bring along your questions!

This workshop is presented by Kris Fuehr, Associate at Paulson Exchange. Paulson Exchange represents privately-owned business owners when they are ready to sell their business. They work with buyers to match the right business for their lifestyle, budget, and resources.

Kris Fuehr spent her initial career in technology and marketing after receiving her MBA from University of Washington Foster School of Business. After a 13-year Microsoft run, she began working with small businesses, hosting workshops and acting as Director of Marketing for several startups.
