The presenter will provide information on multiple types of retirement plan options for small business including Payroll Deduction, 401(k), pension, and more. We will discuss the general responsibilities of the fiduciary and how to best choose benefits that will work for you and your employees.
Presenter Bio
Karyn Cortez is a Benefits Advisor with the United States Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration. She has been with the agency for 10 years, working ERISA compliance involving both private sector health insurance compliance and retirement plan law. She has an MBA from Utah State University and has lived in Western Washington for 10 years now.
