DECLASSIFIED: Childcare, Retail & Unemployment Updates

Thurston EDC Executive Director, Michael Cade, and Thurston Chamber CEO/President, David Schaffert, along with various guests, will provide up-to-date information on business resources, state, federal and local actions, COVID-19 status and advocacy efforts for our community.

On September 24, at 2:00 p.m., Kyle Cronk, President and CEO of the South Sound YMCA will join us to discuss their efforts within our area as well as updates to childcare. Bruce Beckett from the Washington Retail Association will also be on the show to discuss the retail sector and what your business needs to know about unemployment benefits.  We’ll discuss potential Unemployment Insurance rate increases and the increased business overhead and burden for businesses. Schelli Slaughter will give a Thurston County Public Health & Social Services update.
