This holiday season, more than ever, is the time for DIY gift making and for buying locally. Imagine this cool geometric wine bottle holder next to your holiday table and learn how to MAKE your very own. You’ll learn the basics of MIG welding and safety from certified welder and fabricator, Daniel Schepers of Elite Welding and Design….and hopefully come back and make another one for a gift for that wine-loving friend of yours!

Class includes:

• learn how to safely operate a MIG welder
• get practical hands-on experience completing your very own welded steel project
• all materials to complete one geometric wine bottle holder
• certification on MIG welder at the Lacey MakerSpace*

Didn’t quite finish and you need more time to finish your project? Attendees have free access to the welding equipment for up to one week after class, during open hours.

Class size is limited to 4 people in order to be in compliance with current health code guidelines. Sign up for the waitlist to be notified first when the next class goes live.

Lacey MakerSpace’s current COVID19 protocols require everyone to wear face covering or masks at all times indoors, regardless of vaccination status. General safety protocols will be covered at the beginning of class. Closed-toed always required when working in the MakerSpace, leather shoes recommended for this class.
