Learn MIG welding from an industry professional and make your own item! Choose between two projects, a wine holder or a geometric bowl.

Learn the basics of MIG welding and safety in this project-based class taught by certified welder and fabricator, Daniel Schepers of Elite Welding and Design, in this 3-hour evening class. Daniel’s company is a veteran family owned business and is W.A.B.O certified with over ten years of welding/fabricating experience.

In this course, you’ll learn proper techniques for bending steel, welding joints, and grinding and finishing as you make your own take home project. Attendees can choose from two projects, a geometric bowl or a wine holder.

Class includes:

  • learn how to safely operate a MIG welder
  • get practical hands-on experience completing your very own welded steel project
  • all materials to complete one geometric bowl OR wine holder
  • certification on MIG welder at the Lacey MakerSpace*

Didn’t quite finish and you need more time to complete your project? Attendees have free access to the welding equipment for up to one week after class, during open hours.
