Lacey and Olympia offer ScaleUp Full-Ride Scholarships to City-Based Businesses

Beginning February 7, 2020, the Thurston Economic Development Council’s Center for Business & Innovation will once again offer the ScaleUp Training Series.

The Thurston EDC designed ScaleUp for very busy people who wonder how they can possibly fit a training course into their already overwhelming schedule. The ideal “Scaler” has at least two years of operating history and annual revenues in excess of $100,000.  ScaleUp provides an efficient and proven way to gain critical knowledge, skills, and tools quickly.  If you ever want to gain control of your business, you can’t afford NOT to take ScaleUp!

ScaleUp is three, 4-session courses that take place on Thursday mornings. You can take the full three-course series in succession, or you can take one course this season, another the next, and the third further into the future, in the order that best fits your schedule.

The ScaleUp Training Series includes Business TuneUp, Financial Mastery and Build Your Market.

The first of the three-part series is Business TuneUp, where participants will learn how to identify key metrics for better decision making, improve profitability and increase sales and work fewer hours and enjoy more personal time.

Because of ScaleUp’s impact on business strength and growth, the Cities of Lacey, Olympia, and Tumwater have provided funding for businesses in their cities to participate. Lacey and Olympia pay the entire cost; Tumwater pays 80 percent.
