Since 1985, the Thurston Economic Development Council (EDC) has honored local businesses and celebrated the role they play in supporting the economic health of our region.

On May 30, 2019, The Thurston EDC held its annual Gala and Business Recognition Awards at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club. Over 200 people attended the event and helped celebrate the following five winners:

Agricultural Business of the Year: OlyKraut

New Business of the Year: Freshii West Olympia

Large Business of the Year: SCJ Alliance

Non-Profit of the Year: The Bridge Music Project

Small Business of the Year: Gabi’s Olympic Cards and Comics
