This week we will meet with Ashley Whitley, Program Manager for the Washington Center for Woman in Business (WCWB). The WCWB is a program at the Center for Business and Innovation (CB&I), designed to provide women the coaching, training, and technical assistance to navigate the modern business world, in an open and supportive context. Offering entrepreneurial training programs, workshops, one-on-one counseling, coaching and special events to women in all stages of business development the WCWB will support you from your idea’s first inception to its eventual expansion or diversification.
Join us to learn about the programs and resource available to support women entrepreneurs and meet a WCWB client to hear their small business story firsthand!
Wednesday Webinars with SBA Seattle is an ongoing series of free, virtual, webinars covering a variety of topics to benefit small business owners. On the first Wednesday of each month, we will be spotlighting our Resource Partner network who provide free and low-cost support to small businesses in all stages of growth, including one on one mentorship, workshops, and trainings.
About the Speaker
Ashley Whitley oversees the WCWB program daily operations, grant management, program design and offers, social media, branding & design coaching. Ashley is from the greater Seattle area and wife of active-duty Airman currently stationed at JBLM. She has been in various director and business development roles with a Masters that emphasizes on business development and management in the healthcare and behavioral health field. She has started three businesses herself and assists in helping her husband run his own IT Company currently. She is dedicated to providing as much guidance as possible to women who are hesitating to start their own businesses. She hopes to inspire and empower women everywhere so they can be motivated and confident in all they setout to do.
